ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents; Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time students in a four-year college or university in the U.S. or U.S. territories; Must demonstrate a verifiable need for financial support; At least one parent must be of Hispanic ancestry.

DESCRIPTION
The U.S. Hispanic Leadership Institute began awarding scholarships in 1994 to assist Latino students in obtaining a college education.
